I’m a journalist, musician, and interdisciplinary researcher with a keen interest in subjective perceptions and lived experiences. My research has centered on exploring the ways in which transnational identities and migrant communities are shaped through and with musical practices. In this context, I’ve also studied the ways in which a sense of belonging is developed, and what it means in practice to belong in multicultural urban spaces. I’m also interested in the social value generated by creative experiences, and their contributions to subjective well-being and to the construction of cultural narratives and discourses.
