Pauline Wiersema is a Dutch, 24-year old designer from Nijmegen. She set up her own design studio called Wiersema!. Ever since, she has been working as a designer on interdisciplinary design and art projects, using an everlasting energy of radical optimism. She develops interventions, interactive installations and campaigns that attempt to crack your brain and make you wonder. The projects reflect on trends in contemporary society and politics, combining rationality and absurdism. She hopes to replace fear of the unknown for curiosity.
