Heather Griffin

Heather Griffin is an information designer from Ireland. She analyses and utilises mythologies, social phenomena, alternative histories, data and the rhythms of everyday life to critique the absurdity of our neoliberal existence- an age of individualism, where perpetual economic growth overwhelms the planet leading to a climate emergency and crippling biodiversity loss. She believes that design has a social responsibility and is never neutral and there is an urgent need to detach it from unsustainable and defuturing practices. Designer come facilitator, aiming to create spaces for collective imagination and community resilience.
