The panel will be moderated by Luks Feireiss and has been conceived on occasion of the exhibition Planetary Echoes by Michael Najjar. It will address the vision of building a solar civilisation by colonising other moons and planets in the arts, fiction and science at the beginning of the 21st century. It thereby attempts to interweave the discourse into the very fabric of contemporary society and aims at connecting artistic practices with the abstract theoretic sciences on an international level together with Nelly Ben Hayoun, Xavier De Kestelier, Michael Najjar, and Tim Smit.

Lukas Feireiss attained his graduate education in Comparative Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethnology, where he specialized in the dynamic relationship between architecture and other fields of knowledge. He is the curator and editor of numerous books and exhibitions and teaches at various universities worldwide.
