Ketevan (Keti) Zazanashvili is the Founder and President of Georgian National Wheelchair Dance Sport Federation and founder and artistic director of Tbilisi Inclusive Dance Company.  Originally Ballroom dancer and today-wheelchair dance sport trainer and a choreographer, she got interested in the inclusive dance as a result of the Candoco Inclusive Dance Company (London, UK) performances and trainings in Tbilisi in 2013. She competed internationally with her wheelchair dance partner through 2015-2017. Later she has gathered a group of disabled and non-disabled dancers to work on their first ever inclusive dance performance in Georgia – ‘The other Way’ – which was a great success. Her ambition is to build an Inclusive Arts Center of Georgia, where artists with and without disabilities will be able to have a common space for the expression, sharing and building inclusive community through dance and art. Keti thinks: ‘’whilst wheelchair dance sport is a part of Paralympics structure and is basically a competitive sport limited only for wheelchair dancers, inclusive dance practices gives me more room for integration and freedom for the imagination, creativity and improvisation.’’
