TINGLE-DOWN ECONOMICS

“A politician shares the linguistic resources with a doctor”

I would argue that an Argentinean politician has, actually, a lot more in common with a psychiatrist or psychologist. Tingle-down Economics is a research project that looks into political speeches and economic policy communication in times of crisis, taking the current situation in Argentina as a case study. What if we triggered Audiosensory Merdian Responses (ASMR) in citizens to control erratic responses? What are the tools available for leaders who are in a constant state of damage-control?

This project analyzes demagogy, speech training and markets emotional responses to shine light on the importance of rhetoric and discourse in finance and economics.
