Fun, fresh and irreverent, Naomi Shimada is a dynamic force who is fast becoming the voice of a generation. Naomi made her name speaking out against the oppressive body standards of the fashion industry. Her first book, co-authored with journalist Sarah Raphael: ‘Mixed Feelings – Exploring the Emotional impact of our digital habits’ was published in 2019. Naomi is the host of ‘Beauty Fix with Naomi Shimada’ and ‘Obsessed with Killing Eve’ on the BBC. In the spring of 2021 she hosted a discussion for TED on the relationship between anxiety and social media which has had over 200,000 views.
