Born in France in the 1980s, Farah Anede grew up half way between Paris and Disneyland in a new town. She never recovered from that fact and therefore her work as a painter, illustrator and writer is marked by pop culture, non-places, interstitial spaces and globalized landscapes.
She graduated from Textile Design at National College of Art Olivier de Serres and from High Diploma of Fashion Design, Images Media & Editorial at Duperré, National School of Design, Fashion and Creation, in Paris. She also  graduated from a two years cycle of Art History and Archeology at Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Paris. She co-founded a publishing house association, L’Incident, dedicated to audacious and inspiring contemporary creation. She teaches drawing, painting and life drawing to the curious students and professionals (Illumination Mac Guff, feature animation studio).
