Bill Sellanga (aka Blinky Bill) is a singer-songwriter, beat maker, producer, and one fourth of Kenyan art and music collective, Just a Band. Their 2012 album, Sorry For the Delay, an infectious blend of funk, hip-hop and self-proclaimed “Super-Nerdy Electro-pop,” generated international buzz and was named one of the best albums of the year by the Boston Globe. Bill has participated in BLNRB, a project bringing together electronic producers from Nairobi and Berlin, which was profiled on MTV Iggy. Bill is also the curator of the 10 Cities Project, an African-European cultural exchange program sponsored by the Goethe Institute.
