SULSOLSAL is a multidisciplinary research and design collaboration between Brazilian architect Guido Giglio (b. 1981) and South African designer Hannes Bernard (b. 1985). The practice is based between Amsterdam, Cape Town and São Paulo, and combines historic and economic research within emerging cultural trade routes between the Global South and Industrial North. The practise investigates ad-hoc design strategies in relation to the ongoing spectacle of globalized development.
