Ruth is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Northern Ireland. Working for 10 years  internationally in the fashion industry for such brands as Giles Deacon and Horace she switched to  costume design 4 years ago, working for The Royal Court Theatre in London and Siciliano  Contemporary Ballet in Berlin, as well as many independent projects.  

Having painted throughout her life, Ruth recently received the Kulturprojekte Stipendium in October  2020 and has been working solely on a series of oil paintings exploring the nature of inner and  outer resistance through visual symbology.
