Carolina Valente Pinto is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher, working in the intersection of these disciplines. Originally from Lisbon and trained in Graphic Design, she is based in The Netherlands. Tentacular thinking moves her practice, in a search for collaborative and collective knowledges that can propose alternative ways for a feminist discourse. Nevertheless a romantic from Southern Europe, her work is always approached with a poetic quality and fluidity, respecting the vulnerability of process, so necessary in research. Always curious and inquiring, she often uses fiction methods as ways of communicating facts and findings, and tell the stories of those she encounters. Her main focuses of research are the Anthropocene, feminism and design/media tools and their effects on contemporary society.
