In this 5 month programme, dr Agi Haines and the researchers of the Horror Programme explored: How can horror be used to expose and subvert institutions and institutional problems and concerns?

Head of Programme Agi Haines will took us through various workshops on prosthetics making, haunted AR filter-making and beyond. Together unravelling the hypnotic effect t HORROR has on society, investigating how popular culture, political, economical, sociological systems and institutions make use and misuse our fears.

This programme was a critical exploration into elicit societal fears and human passion for horror. They investigated institutions and popular culture through the lens of the ‘horror’ genre in dramaturgy, film, costume making, and more. 

The researchers collaborated institutions and use horror to expose or subvert concerns found in their research with their chosen institution.
